Read this one carefully, because Fannon himself is careful with some of it and loose with the rest. His latest video is built on one theme — karma — and one warning: be careful pointing fingers at a fighter when you do not have yourself under control, because, in his words, God does not like ugly. Nobody else speaks in the video. Gervonta Davis, Devin Haney and Edgar Berlanga are all talked about, none of them heard, and everything below is Fannon’s account and opinion, not a court record shown on screen.
Fannon says he supports Davis, and he does not defend Davis putting his hands on anyone. His position, stated plainly, is that Davis needs to keep his hands to himself, and that in his personal opinion grabbing someone by the neck is not kidnapping. He then turns to Berlanga, whose beef with Davis he traces to a nightclub incident around 2024 involving Berlanga’s father. Fannon alleges Berlanga is accused of punching his girlfriend and striking her with the butt of a gun after a trip to a shooting range, and says Berlanga is charged with aggravated battery, with other charges Fannon says he cannot remember. Those are accusations as Fannon states them, and Berlanga still has to go to court — Fannon says that too.
The Haney part needs the clearest handling of all. Fannon says Haney’s camp and supporters put out Davis mugshots and called Davis a woman abuser. He then repeats talk about Haney and a pregnant surrogate — and immediately undercuts his own segment by admitting, in the video, that he does not know if Haney actually faced charges for that. At the end he adds a separate claim, that Devin and Bill Haney have an assault and battery case from a professional boxer, without naming the boxer or giving details. And despite the video’s own title, Fannon never says anyone is facing jail time. Not Berlanga, not Haney. That word does not come up.
His broader point is that fighters live around violence and many cannot separate the ring from life outside it. That is a very different Fannon video from his Foster and Tank breakdown this week, and it deserved a different kind of write-up.
Our take: accusations are not convictions, for Davis, for Berlanga or for Haney, and Rnd5Media is not going to print Fannon’s allegations as facts. What is fair to report is the warning underneath it, because it applies to everybody in this story equally: mocking another man’s case is a dangerous game in a sport where the next headline can carry your own name.
